How did you discover EAW?
Googled e-wrestling, found a non-defunct fed, stalked it for a while to make sure "the trains ran on time," so to speak. Impressed with the lack of OOC drama, impressed with the IC drama and RP quality.
When did you start e-fedding?
Back in 1999. I created the Jonathan Drake character under the alias "Dark Dragon" and joined a few feds that quickly folded due to mismanagement or politics. Graduated college, and I thought the hobby had died after that, but I kept refining the Jonathan Drake character for 20 years.
What do you look forward to around here?
Promo-ing and RP-ing my character/manager is a joy unto itself. I want to show EAW what I've got, improve, help others improve, and hopefully meet some cool OOC folks in the process.
Lastly, I hope to develop and explore myself (Joe) through coming to terms with my own darkness. Like my character, I suffer from bipolar disorder that almost ended my life.
What are your expectations with your character?
When you've run, or at least imagined, a character over 20 years, you become attached to him. He's gone from one-dimensional monster heel to raving psycho to intimidating enforcer in my 2 years of e-wrestling, but I reconstructed him as the 21st-century nightmare, a fully-evolved predator.
I want him to fight, win, lose (though not too much, heh heh), and especially, evolve--whether
@Jack Haze mellows him out (or
@Jonathan Drake hardens Haze up), or
@TLA makes a libertine out of him (or Jonathan Drake makes TLA a spartan), or
@Drake King battles his fellow Drake for the right to the name...it's gonna get interesting.
Buckle your chinstraps, the fun's just begun.
