Gimmick: Decades of worldwide tours and World Championship victories later, Impact grew jaded with traveling around the globe, and to a larger degree, the wrestling business as a whole. Impact felt like his contributions as a world-class wrestler for a plethora of years weren't adequately appreciated by the audience nor by several key authority figures in the industry - to the extent he believed he'd have be twice as good as everybody else in all facets to be held in the same esteem of those who had accomplished half as much, were half as talented, and half as dedicated as he considered himself to be. Impact believes popularity in the industry is dictated by whoever eats the most dick, and refuses to fraternize with those he regards as beneath him on account of their shameless sycophantism.

His disillusionment with the industry ended up having a domino effect on his lifestyle, shedding the honor and commitment to his craft that embodied the former "Quintessential Champion" in favor of a life of decadence, traveling overseas to become a regular patron of exorbitantly priced brothels, trading in wrestling for the nightlife, giving in to his various hedonistic desires. Put another way, he spiced his whole shit up and now he got hoes in different area codes.

Impact has estranged himself from his family, all of whom vocally disapproved of what he dubbed "cracking out of the shell." Impact completely stopped training, watching any kind of wrestling so it wouldn't remind him of his anger, leaving his career in the rear view mirror - for all intents and purposes abandoning his past life for the fast life. The industry had taken a physical, but worse yet, emotional toll on him, affecting his state of being in nearly every respect. A believer-turned cynic crucified in closed circles by peers and higher-ups for alleged "attitude issues," he no longer lives for the sake of impressing anybody else or meeting an arbitrary, half-baked standard of excellence. On the streets, he's stopped playing by the rules and has lived lawlessly, paying law enforcement hush money to avoid having several of his more egregious misdeeds publicly documented.

The morning after a particularly eventful and carefree evening, Impact woke up, alone, in a trashed hotel room not recalling any events of the preceding night. He looked and felt like hell. This spurred a crisis of conscience in which Impact started asking himself the tough questions: "Is there any light at the end of this path I'm walking?", "am I a coward for abandoning my craft?", "what do I have to prove?" - after which he was left with no answers.

Impact pressed on for several more weeks with this debaucherous, dead-end lifestyle. He didn't think it was right, but he enjoyed it nonetheless, and after a career of constantly being on edge, all that mattered was enjoyment; which is why, he thought, "I have to go back to the lion's den." That was his calling. Not the thotties at the club, brothel whores, alcoholism and drugs. That was a different type of theater. The theater he was meant for was that which occurs inside the squared circle.

That said, he was unsure how to reenter the fold and felt strongly he had to pursue something fresh and unlike anything he had done before. Impact, a wrestler who never had any issue solving his problems, twisted himself in knots trying to figure it out. Days later, a chance encounter in a restaurant overseas with he and an old colleague ended up being the conversation that would pave his path back to the jungle. He's been a monster in the weight room and will soon be slated to make his long-awaited return in this new environment. But make no mistake, this isn't the Impact of yesteryear. This is an Impact that has lived recklessly and fully intends to carry that approach with him back to, and outside of, the ring. He's coming back... but he's not coming alone.

He still got hoes btw.

Theme Music: "Can I Live" by Jay-Z

Entrance: White lights in the arena flicker to radiate so brilliantly it almost temporarily blinds the audience. Epilepsy caution, etc. Impact takes several steps down the ramp with his eyes closed, as if symbolically "turning his back" as he feels people have him, before widening his emotionless eyes and walking into the ring. Impact pays no attention to the crowd.

In-Ring Attire: Transitions between trunks for regular matches and diamond-patterned long tights for major events.

Segment Attire:

Tendency to Cheat: Rarely

Motivations: What are your character’s motivations for competing? Delete all options that do not apply:
Passion – they just want to wrestle and don’t care about anything else
Glory – they just want to win and don’t care about anything else
Punishment – intent at exacting revenge on those who wronged him, enjoys making the audience cringe at the sight of his opponents being dismantled

Wrestling Training: Unknown

Wrestling Debut: 2004 in the independent circuit; professional debut 2008

Favorite Weapon: Salt (in people's eyes, in their wounds, etc - more done for mockery than to inflict legitimate pain)

Strengths: World-class endurance, unnaturally high pain tolerance enabling him to withstand the most vicious of beatings without being much worse for wear, significantly increased physical strength, uses his ability to manipulate people's emotions in his favor in wrestling matches

Weaknesses: Overconfidence, mental torment as a result of being hardened by the business and estranged from family, prone to lapses of judgment based on random rage outbursts
