As we close the chapter on what has been quite the year for EAW I would just like to take the time to look back and reflect, as well as show my gratitude towards the community for what it has grown to become as we enter 2019. As most people know 2018 didn't start off on the best foot for EAW as a split in perspectives and allegiances divided a community. After the merge between EAW and REVOLT the main goal of myself and DEDEDE was to reshape and revitalize the culture of EAW and despite a lot of bumps in the road along the way, I think it's safe to say that we eventually got to our destination. Everybody has their own personal perspective on how 2018 was overall, understandably so considering how many ups and downs happened for the first half of it especially. Me personally I'm able to look back on it with a mostly positive outlook because I never had any personal emotional ties to anyone no longer here and I think EAW benefitted from an exodus of toxicity, side servers, sex cults, and high school drama but that's just me. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been the most perfect person in the way I went about some things in 2018 myself. As chairman I have to lead by example and carry myself in a way that I'd want the rest of my fed to follow and carry themselves. If I could take back a thing or two or go about them differently I definitely would, like ever engaging in any twitter mess for example. The positive that I can take away from these things is the fact that I've learned from it and going into 2019 won't have to worry about that as my only concern will be towards building EAW into becoming the best version of itself possible and nothing more. I think we are on a fast track to becoming that. Everybody(hopefully 👀) who had some double agent hidden agenda or disgruntled attitude concerning how things are slowly but surely removed themselves and when I see EAW today I just see a bunch of people happy about the e-fedding aspect and making up what is a great and healthy community going forward.

The building part is what always gets me excited, I look at EAW today and see so many promising prospects who if they can stick around for the long haul will go down as fixtures in the community and greats in their own right. The sky is the limit for a lot of people who as long as they assert themselves will experience great success. I see talented GFXers and video editors who aren't obligated to lending EAW their talents but do so anyway because they share a passion for helping the community and I'm thankful and honored that they would choose EAW to be the place for them. I see people who entered EAW for the first time in 2018 and embraced the opportunity to learn how to become writers, whether it be as promoers or match writers, helping continue the cycle of greatness that EAW continues to strive for.

We can't take all of the credit though because the fact of the matter is that we couldn't have done it without the people who make EAW what it is, and that is every single one of you. Everybody who brought into the vision, stepped up and took on bigger roles when needed, emerging as leaders, vocal presences, writers, editors, and everything else in between. People who actually cared about the bigger picture of helping EAW at large with no hidden agendas like only wanting to prop up their own characters legacy and nothing more or recruiting members to their secret e-feds/servers. This year so many amazing new people joined the community and made huge impacts and I'm just grateful that you guys gave us a chance and grew to love it. Not to mention, there wouldn't even be a community for these new people to have come into in the first place had it not been for the veterans of EAW. People who have been around for years or simply just people who had been around a bit before the merge. You guys stuck around during a time where you could have easily seen what seemed to be the tide shifting away from EAW and followed that, but you stuck to your guns, trusted your gut, and stayed around to become a part of EAW's evolution. I don't take that dedication and loyalty for granted. For some people it was easy to be disgruntled and unwelcoming while sticking to secluded circles because they feared change. For other people, they looked forward to what was ahead, even if they were initially unsure about it. I thank you guys for sticking around here in EAW and embracing the change, setting the stage for what was to come, assisting and mentoring the new members as they transitioned into an e-fed the caliber and size of EAW. You all know who you are and you are very appreciated. Thank you for trusting the process and understanding that there was a bigger picture despite things not always seeming perfect on the surface.

Although 2017 got progressively worse as the year ended and bled into 2018, things became better as 2018 unfolded to the point where I can sit here entering 2019 as optimistic as I've ever been during any of my time in e-feds. I'm thankful for the experiences and lessons that were learned and I'm thankful to be able to stand here and say that we are approaching 2019 in an amazing position to do great things from all angles. Let's keep up the great work!

Here's to an amazing historic 2019, Happy New Year folks.

I decided to make my acknowledgments a whole separate post because I didn't want my OP to be a novel. But here are some key people I'd like to thank who made 2018 special for me. I can't shout out every single person in EAW as much as I would love to, so I kept it to people who were either board members or key people who played a part in EAW's evolution in 2018 by bringing in new members so that nobody feels left out that they weren't mentioned so please do not take it personal.

@Mr. DEDEDE for being a true friend and going against the grain, having my back when it wasn't the popular thing to do. Could have easily turned a blind eye to the fuckery that was going on and not wanting to get in the middle of it. Could have easily played it safe for the sake of not wanting to shake the table. Could have just let things continue to linger. Instead, you did what you felt in your heart was the right thing to do and even though you were demonized for it in the beginning, you stuck to your guns and everything paid off in the end. Aside from that it goes without saying what you bring to the table as a leader and a creative mind and it's amazing to have someone of your caliber around. I owe a lot to you for what you've done for me and I hope we can continue working side by side to build EAW to even bigger heights.

@Amber Keys, I took a huge leap of faith by contacting you trying to convince you of a return and honestly had no idea what your reaction was gonna be. I was in a place where I wasn't the most satisfied about how things were at that point in time and felt EAW was in desperate need of a spark, I needed something to spice things up and boy did you make EAW a way better place. It's safe to say that was the greatest leap of faith I made all year in e-feds. I didn't know it'd end up with you becoming the VP and then becoming the beast of a promoer and LEADER that you are today but I'm glad it did and you made my life so much easier it's not even funny. From e-fed stuff to real life stuff, you have been a huge help and every time I see you doing your thing I can't help but feel proud and grateful to have you back around after all this time. Serena Bennett is the fucking GOAT.

@TRE for believing in me and making my vision come to life. When I was in that bad place last year I came to you and we built together and although you decided to take a step back later on down the line, I'm eternally grateful for all the things you brought to life. Leveling EAW up like only you know how to do with the website templates and software as well as setting REVOLT up on different platforms which in turn brought some great members and now provides EAW with an upgraded site. I look forward to working with you in the future with other ventures.

@Killa Karl for being on them frontlines fighting the good fight :wow:, but forreal thank you for being loyal and a great friend. You've also been a big help this year dating back to REVOLT and helping keep everything together between GR and PFP, keeping your finger on the pulse.

@"SCOTT" for being clutch with your writing for most of 2018, I've learned to accept you for who you are in terms of what you bring to the table and what your strengths/weaknesses are. I thank you for helping me out this year in my different ventures and I thank you for coming back when I messaged you in May 2017.

@Sienna Jade for being a person who was a huge help early on as well. Not once did I ever enjoy being on a chatroom filled with hypocritical followers making you the butt of all jokes and in the back of my mind I always wanted you to come back and reclaim your spot. I'm just glad you didn't let people keep you away forever and embraced the vision as well as helped it come to life. Although your time post-merge wasn't the most ideal for a while with the blatantly shady booking of Sienna Jade and the PFP loss despite easily outpromoing your opponent, you kept your head held high and never once complained or made a big deal behind the scenes and that attitude is admirable. Nothing but respect for the Female Elitist of the Year and the one true and only freeweight champion.

@Noah Reigner for giving a small little unproven startup fed a shot by spreading the word about it, which in turn brought us amazing people like Kassidy and then eventually Tyler and Bowie. One of the most talented promoers I've come across on this platform and in general just a chill cool guy. The sky is the limit for you here in EAW and I can't wait for the great things you do in 2019.

@Kassidy Heart for taking Noah's advice and joining REVOLT and sticking around despite your character not necessarily being the best booked(or having the best luck with partners prior to Sienna for that matter). I'm glad everything turned out the way it did because I have no idea how things would be right now without you. Thank you for taking a liking to my writing and Voltage, sharing my love for MarrKade and becoming the heiress to the Voltage throne :wow:. I would have never imagined with you not being on discord at all for the first half of 2018, or even being social on the forums, just posting your promo and going, that you'd be where you are today, but I'm thankful for it. I always knew you were an amazing writer and your talents needed to be displayed on a bigger platform so I'm glad you opened up to the idea.

@Cage., even tho you can be an angry bozo who projects false shit about how you're perceived and jumps to the defensive way too much, I love you and care about your wellbeing so I hope things get better for you. I thank you for being someone who stayed on my side. Thanks for holding down the fort with Showdown for most of the year and writing amazing matches. Well deserved EOTY award and hopefully you can come back from your vacation in a better space than when you left for it, ready to keep on making magic happen while feeling revitalized.

@Theron Nikolas, you were one of the guys who joined EAW after I retired, who racked up a Hall of Fame career during my absence, and grew to become a leader for a newer generation that had no memory of a CM Banks outside of stories and tribute GFX. A few other guys and girls were in that same boat, and I'm sure you all frequented circles of respected "veterans" during my departure as they told stories skewing history in their direction, painting me out to be the e-fed Hitler. The difference between you and those other people is that you never jumped to conclusions or took those words as law. You got to know me for yourself, and as soon as I made my return to EAW in 2017 you introduced yourself to me and embraced me as opposed to giving me a cold shoulder or trying to troll me out of the e-fed like some other people did. That stuck with me and that's how I knew you were a stand-up dude and that is why I had no problem giving you the opportunity to face me in my last match as the Banks character and win. Thanks for the great things you've contributed to EAW in 2018.

@Raven Roberts, when you first came to REVOLT I'm not gonna front I was like "why tf does him and Payton keep blowing our twitter mentions up :pacspit:", but I always appreciated the enthusiasm and passion you showed for this game. You were a quick learner and fit in with the community like a glove to the point where we weren't sure if you were actually a newcomer at a point . I know a lot of different people have tried tugging you and Remi in different directions and circles, but I'm glad you stuck with home base and continued to improve at a rate to where you are able to be a head writer here. I haven't ever seen someone improve at the rate that you have but it's been a pleasure to watch.

@Remi Skyfire, you had joined immediately after the merge and although the hype was around Kianna Carter who joined around the same time, you snatched that quickly. You've grown as a promoer and writer to the point where you became the savior of Battleground... and then the savior of Empire in all like less than a month. When you swooped in and started handling Battleground that's when I knew you were destined for much more than just that and it was only a matter of time till you were handling a main roster brand. I hadn't anticipated Cloud dipping off but I'm sure glad he did and expedited the process of you taking his job and doing it way better than he ever did. Your passion and selflessness is amazing, keep up the great work.

@Xander Payne, you can be an annoying little immature shit sometimes but I am glad about the progress you've made over the past year. If you stick with this game as years go by I can see you being a staff member in a successful e-fed, you do a great job at introducing people to the game and you've helped EAW greatly with bringing us future legends like @Drake King @Myles, @Jake Smith, and @Joshua Nicholls, you also got me hip to different editing communities which lead to partnerships with places like A2E, so thank you.

And while we're on the topic of editors I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Jamie, Rhyse, Marx, Arselx, James, Lars, Pehrox, GoldenSkulls, Broken Black and Ishi for all the graphics and/or vids they contributed to EAW in 2018.

First off, Happy New Years to all of EAW! To help usher in the new year, I think it's great to put forth such an impactful message to the community as we do.

I can remember around this time last year, personally, I wasn't nearly as involved with much of anything outside working in new wrinkles to evolve my character. A lot of that had to do with a few things mostly. First, I still had a strong passion for writing and getting far more creative, and being in two feds at the time I was really trying to expand on that aspect to the best of my ability. Secondly, I had started to invest a lot of my time helping others who were showing a passion for this as much as I was at the time and have continued to, but were not necessarily getting the results right away that they had expected. Those same people I found common ground with too in many respects, and to me that made staying positive about everything else as it involved this community very important. Because of some of the things that were going on, whether you want to call it politics/favoritism or what have you that led to a few leaving and a few others almost leaving that you know today as a main fixture today. The point I'm making in mentioning that, is that there were a lot of other things that I was choosing to do with my time then get involved in taking sides. Who was right, who was wrong. In my mind, it was about the product. Helping forward it in any way possible as an outsider so-to-speak that wasn't a board member in any capacity.

As I understood it at the time, a lot of things that separated EAW following the abrupt and unexpected passing of one our beloved community members last year stemmed from plenty of things that preceded me even. To me, it was always about EAW. There was no sides for me. I stayed low and did my thing, but I could tell of the toxic environment that I was in and among as it concerned many in the community. I guess I have this way about me though where I give everyone a fair chance, give them the benefit of the doubt if you will until they prove to me otherwise. With that in mind I knew when and where to say what was on my mind, and when not to. But my stance was always the same, keep low and control only what I could, and do what I could do toward helping push EAW forward, and will continue to. The merger that happened immediately after Grand Rampage this year was, in my opinion, the best thing that could possibly have come out of the negative and toxic atmosphere that we all had experienced before. And I'm not really saying that just because it gave my character a chance to grow, even as I am very appreciative and thankful to those who had a direct hand in me getting that push that I had worked so long to receive. I mostly believe this because of where the community stands today, which I believe it couldn't be in better hands than they are today - making the product stronger than it's ever been with plenty of room for growth.

Today, a year later following the turmoil that preceded last year, I can honestly say I'm far happier to see how much things have evolved. The positive atmosphere radiates all around more so than I think at any point I've noticed since joining this fed back in late 2015, and the credit goes to all the people that are here now that are dedicated to their work no matter what role they play to make this place the best it can be. I said it recently that there was nobody in this community that I couldn't see myself not taking the time to listen to if they needed someone to talk to, to hear their frustrations about life or what was happening with their character direction and so forth as it concerned the fed. I meant that wholeheartedly too. I haven't always felt like I could say that, but things have changed gradually over time due to the investment that I see others putting into this that don't have alternative agendas. This place deserves the best you can give it in 2019. The only way this place continues to flourish is by us staying together and making it happen, helping EAW rise to another level in the process. Now let's all do as we say and not just say what we will do. Let's continue to tear it up in 2019 and beyond!

Everyone stay safe and have a great day!

When I started 2018 something in my life was missing: I had been a wrestler, well manager, in real life for a few years up till then, and while I was never going to make it to anything bigger than my local armory, I was in that armory every weekend. At the end of 2017 my knee was basically destroyed to the point I walked with a cane for several months, and even still have to take careful steps or I'll take a fall. In Kentucky if you get hurt, you can't wrestle, and so for the first time in three years I wasn't spending every weekend in an armory.

I had previously fedded years before, and thought I'd see it would let me at least partially fill the hole that had suddenly appeared in my life that wrestling had left. I found EAW on one of the 'Top 100 Efeds' list where most the sites were most the feds were closed Geocities sites that barely loaded anymore, or 'Extreme Feds' with too many 'X's' in their name that were ran by bozos. I came upon EAW and was struck by how put together it looked, and by how many people it had. I was creeping a few days prior to joining only because I couldn't figure out how to sign up, since there wasn't an application process like many feds I had previously been in.

Once I joined it was 100% my intention to keep my head down and just write. I thought if I could at least do that then it would be something and it might help fill the void in my life that my injury had caused. I joined the Discord channel and was immediately overwhelmed, so I didn't interact much. My second match was against Raven, who has since become my best friend here, and it broke the flood gates in many ways, because he had been more social than me and through him I found the confidence to open up more in main chat.

Since then EAW has done more for me than you guys will ever know. I'll remember for the rest of my life winning the Specialists title at Pain for Pride, and how I felt. It made me want to give back to a place that had embraced me in such a short time, and to do whatever I could to keep up the great storytelling and fun. I was hesitant at first to write matches because I lacked the confidence I had the talent needed to tell the kind of stories people deserved, but I still took on the challenge and started writing here and there as a back up.

Once Battleground was announced I quickly jumped at the chance to help Pehrox and Arselx run the brand and had a great time doing so. Empire came quickly after that, and I leapt at it as soon as it was offered without a second thought because I wanted to give back to a place that had given so much to me.

Thank you @Ronn Bank$ and @Mr. DEDEDE for having enough faith in me to let me run one of your brands, and for always being there when I need someone to talk things through. Thank you @Raven Roberts for being my best efed friend and for putting up with my nonsense. Thank you @Cameron Ella Ava for embracing me like you have and for having faith in my vision going forward. Thank you to @Amber Keys for being a good friend and great HR lady, lol. Thank you to @Rex32 for being a solid source of inspiration and guidance, especially early on. and Thank you @Kassidy Heart for being someone I can rely on for help with developing my character work and writing.

Thank you to everyone on Empire for having faith in me when there didn't seem to be anything to have faith in for a lot of us. I'm trying to make things better for everyone one step at a time. 2019 is going to be big for all of us.

It’s crazy to look at my current position and think that a year ago today, I’d never known efeds were a concept. To the point I remember when I found REVOLT! I had to message the moderator account just to ask what it all really was and how to start with my Cody Rhodes version of Jackson Blayde (which just seems wrong now 😂). Quick shoutout there to the person that made REVOLT! and by result, efeds stand out to me in a random poster that made me pause and go “Wait. That’s Peyton Royce. So who the hell is @Sienna Jade?” And it wasn’t a full month after that, I was sent a link to the EAW discord for the merger. I popped in right in the middle of the Grand Rampage match and remember being overwhelmed by the scope of it because I’d only just gotten used to REVOLT! at the time. And in a few short months, Grand Rampage is here again where we see how it’s all come full circle.

This year has been wild. I’ve made amazing friends, the biggest shout out I have to throw to @Remi Skyfire for just accepting my random ass chit chat on discord when we were first matched up in April in what seemed to just be a throw away match at the time, a discord conversation that to this day has not ended 😝. I’ll be the first to own that during this year I was lulled into a false sense of trust by people who’s true colors I’ve since come to see and pulled into things I should never have been involved in. But the community here never gave up on me and for that I’m thankful, especially considering the position and opportunities I’ve been given since. Thank you also to @Amber Keys for being such a positive light for us. Thank you to @Rex32 for being a mentor and friend when I needed it. Truthfully there’s so many from this year I want to thank but if I tried to sit here and legitimately list everyone, there’d probably be some more left out. So also to the EAW Community as a whole... thank you.

Going forward, I want to just keep working hard and developing. The difference between my work when I first arrived and what I’m capable of today is staggering when I stop and look at it. I’d love to be able to take credit but the truth is that it comes down to hours of looking at so many other promos and segments and matches written by so many of the amazing people here (and a little bit of getting much better writers to tear my work to shreds when I needed it). There’s been a lot of faith put in me going forward by @Ronn Bank$ and @Mr. DEDEDE. I’m thankful for that and I want to live up to that and show you that you made the right choice. Here’s to making 2019 the best year that’s been seen around here. 🥂

Much luv to everyone y'all be making this a community that I enjoy being a part of and had a lot of fun being a part of in 2019. I been doing this efedding shit a long ass time and don't really feel like I got any obligation to stick around but I do it anyway cuz u all make it worth my time. Shoutout to @Ronn Bank$ for messaging me to come back and join REVOLT! when I thought I was finally out the game. I was skeptical tbh but it ended up actually being a lot of fun and I don't regret shit. I'm glad that you were the one who got to me first otherwise I might have ended up in some pedo ass weeb fed with vatos who beat on they girlfriends. I know I am not always the easiest person to work with but I do care about EAW and the people in it and want the fed to go at its very hardest into 2019. Much respect for everything you do here.

Personally I'd say I have been a lot more positive about EAW this year. I might be negative at times but I actually want to be here instead of just feeling obligated to stick around like I used to. Shoutout to @Cage. for being a goat writer who over the past year on Showdown wrote one of my favorite efed runs I've ever been apart of. Showdown was beastly this year tho I'm biased towards it being part of the writing team so shoutout to all the other writers too for they hard work I've enjoyed all the shows this year. Shoutout to @Raven Roberts and @Terry Chambers for they sexy work as Showdown writers and @Arselx and @Remi Skyfire for they sexy work as Battleground writers I enjoyed being part of both teams. Shoutout to @Mr. DEDEDE as well for letting me help with Dynasty also I enjoyed backup writing for everyone I had the chance to. Gracias to DDD as well for being one of the most supportive staff members I've ever met in an efed I always feel positive after I get done talking with you which is a rare quality to have.

I'd also like to shout out @Amber Keys @Nobi @Erebus Jennings @Madison Kaline @Astraea Jordan @Bhris Elite @Eric Crane @Xander Payne @Kassidy Heart @Rex32 @Arselx @VIP @Sienna Jade @Jamie O'Hara @El Landerson @The Woogieman @Shaker Jones @Cameron Ella Ava @Noah Reigner @Tyler Wolfe @Drake King @Ahren Fournier @Jael @TRE Imp Ventura Ryan Nick and RRS for being real ones this year we homies 4 life <3. Sorry if I missed anyone there are too many people to give shoutouts to everyone so just know I got luv for all y'all. Let's make 2019 the sexiest year yet and work towards the ultimate goal of putting a Poon Palace on the moon. :blessed:

I'm glad things have worked out the way they did which I'm sure me from a year ago would be surprised at. Seeing EAW split was tough and it weighed on me more than people would think knowing that I wasn't faultless. I completely lacked the awareness to realise how carrying on the way I did rubbed people the wrong way, even if my intention was only to shit stir. When the merge happened, I was just going to fast-forward leaving to then. Coupled with being exhausted and frustrated (writing wise), I had my issues with some, I felt some had issues with me. Even at the peak of my problems with people like Amani, Rhyse and Marx in the old EAW, I was disappointed that I was part of the reason I drove them away to begin with and felt like I should just remove myself to avoid any conflict. I'm glad I buried those hatchets and I thank DDD for convincing me to see out the rest of the season.

Removing myself not just from EAW but E-Fedding as a whole for some time, it gave me a new perspective; it's why I'm here and not there or anywhere else. I miss some people; some people that not everyone likes or sees in the same light I do, but eh. It's not the most comfortable topic I see pop up because for all the bad and all the toxicity, they were mates and I remember a lot of good they did. The time away has changed my perspective of some of them, reaffirmed others etc. But seeing what EAW developed into makes it clear the necessity of it all. This community continues to remain strong by going through it all only makes it stronger. Despite hanging around in the chat for the last few months, I'm still getting to know everyone and seeing all the change thats unfolded.

Happy 2019. Looking forward to seeing where this thing goes next.

I'm not good with stuffs like this but my 2 cents is that EAW is a great community with great staffs, great writers, great designers, and great video guys. I believe things will be even more greater in 2019 (H).

Personal shout out to DEDEDE, TLA, Rex, Cam, Terry, and Banks for always there for me.

Personal shout out to Xavier, DC, and the rest of writers who handled The Nobi character. I'm looking forward to work with Kassidy for The Farrell V character, lol.

Thank you to Shaker Jones for a personal shout to me. You are a great guy yourself.

And sorry if you don't get mention but believe me, I like all the members here, lol.

EDIT: and thank you to Showster as well. You are a great guy youself, lol.

Was for sure a fun year. It's been a long road to get to where I am today but it was well worth it. @TLA already wrote so many of the points that are the same with me. Was always around because I felt like I had to and never because I actually enjoyed it and when I thought I was done with fedding, I got pulled back in and am having the best time. I left feds in early 2017 to focus on my family expecting me and my wife's 3rd child and also my health because I was NOT in a good place mentally even attempting suicide. And just because I felt like a liability because of my writing being careless and late for shows and promos lacking any creativity. This was a very dark time in my life and when I was gone, I was able to clear my head and realize how good I have it and thanks to counseling and advice from friends and family, I was able to straighten my life out getting a great job I love. Me and my wife just finished our move to our new house not too long ago also. I made a promise to myself that if I ever wanted to come back to EAW, I MUST be in a healthy and happy place in my life and I'm a man of my word. I can say for sure I believe I have beaten my demons (for now) because my life is back on track and am actually having fun in both fedding and real life again. It's been great writing for Voltage and Showdown this year and working with many greats and look forward to another amazing year of doing the exact same. I mean hey, I have 3 kids and a good job and could be doing something else but why do I make time for EAW? Because I fucking love it.

Thanks to EAW members who always supported me during my struggles and EAW members I worked with in 2018 and members I look forward to working with in 2019. Let's have an amazing 2019! @Mr. DEDEDE @Ronn Bank$ @Raven Roberts @Jamie O'Hara @Cameron Ella Ava @Erebus Jennings @Nobi @Sienna Jade @Andrea Valentine @Kassidy Heart @Theron Nikolas @Xander Payne @Killa Karl @Showster26 @Remi Skyfire @Bhris Elite @Amber Keys @Madison Kaline @Rex32 @Heart Break Boy @Ahren Fournier

My paragraph should be bigger. TRE size at the very least.
I didn't read the original post at first and thought you were dissing my promo size. I typed out a very long promo on you but now I have to delete it.
