you know, as Doctor Strange once said, there's 4,000,605 outcomes, meaning there is roughly 4,000,605 performances that this tiny little ADHD brain does, I can't remember them all.
She can flex the victory all she wants and use my name as a crutch into her next matches, it doesn't effect me, because to be honest Rory Slate to me is like a stunt-double. they are there, but once the movie is over, you forget who they are. Sure, Maybe Rory has moved on to being a full-time casted member and not a stunt double, but she's like, ohhh, I don't know, like the side character. Whilst I'm the main character. I am the Iron Man of our M.C.U known as Elite Answers Wrestling.
Besides the dying part, although don't consider me immortal, think about it like this, if you are immortal that means you are alive to see all of your friends and family die, you are alive to see the human population turn to ash, you are alive to see the sun explode and then you are just floating in space for eternity, nothing to do, no promos to cut, no movies to watch, just stars and your own thoughts. Me personally, take me now, I'd rather NOT float in space for all of eternity and have to hear my thoughts over and over and over again.
I can tell you what, Rory Slate would NOT be in any of those thoughts, for real. Unrelated, But I know I did not win the unique opportunity match at Territorial Invasion, That's okay. I wish some luck to whoever possibly shined and won that matchup, maybe. I don't know.
Either way, I still stand here empty handed, feeling as lonely as the bird in the tree...
Feeling as useless as a can opener. Do you know how useless a can opener is?? Pointless! Only used by the elder!
It's my dynasty career all over again oh no no no. This can NOT be happening.
I thought Voltage was suppose to be my home! my safe space! instead I just feel like that person that moved into a new home and complains because it doesn't feel "homey enough" but its okay Voltage! we just need to fix you up some more, we need to add some more funko pops! add some wallpaper! maybe even a flatscreen tv, but most importantly the Iconic Cup!
The Iconic cup seems like a great coffee table decoration, you can put pencils in it, or do what my grandma use to do and put some candy in it. I personally wouldn't put candy because I'd eat it all, specifically gummy worms.
But before I could even begin to fantasize about gummy worms or redecorating my home. We must first come to the topic of one... Holly Arrow. Now, I don't remember alot but I do remember that myself and Holly are no strangers to one another, we've met once before.
What was the result? Well, I'm not quite sure, That's where my memory goes a bit blur! But I'm sure it ended good for me, right?
I guess we can consider this round two, And If I had a nickel for every-time me and Holly Arrow have met one-on-one whilst Holly has been a tag team champion, I'd have two nickels, which isn't alot. But it's weird that it happened twice.
It's almost as if nothing has changed since our last encounter, Holly. You are still one-half of the tag team champions, I'm still titleless and a loser, Our little reunion is almost like the recent reunion of Nsync, Besides our looks and maybe our moveset, nothing has changed.
The only difference is that last time was a professional wrestling match between two professional wrestlers who are at the highest of levels, and this time around it's actually for something, The Iconic Cup. There's a purpose now! Although I will say, It seems a bit greedy from you and Harper to be involved in this tournament, no offense of course!
I'm just speaking my opinion, Freedom of speech! and I just think its a bit much for two champions of your caliber to be put into this tournament with talent like myself, Besides advancing in the tournament what do I receive for my Grammy like performance against you?
Do I get to go find a tag team partner and challenge you and Harper for the tag team titles? I don't think so. Plus, even if I did, I don't think my hero Bethany Blue is available to be my tag-team partner for that match. She is a very busy bee.
Meaning I would have to deny that championship match and I would HATE to do that. But, I won't be greedy, the Iconic Cup is all I need, It's all I have left. I can't win a championship, so maybe a cup will be better? I wonder if they'd let me redecorate the cup, like, can I put Iron Man stickers on it? will my name be engraved into it? hmm. so many unanswered questions! what kind of management do we have around here?!
The Iconic cup has a restart written all over it, a chance for me to figure out who Jamie Cross truly is, to figure out how and why I do what I do at this stage in my Elite Answers Wrestling career. Because if I can't walk out of this with that cup in my hand, maybe it is time for me to take the advice given to me by Milli. Maybe It's time I follow in the foot steps of Bethany Blue...
and do whatever it takes.
It's the last straw, the last chance, the last drop of hope I have left to be who I want to be, to be who I am. I don't want to have to become who I'm not in order to get what I want, but I guess a sacrifice is part of the job I signed up for... But we won't reach that point, I hope.
I hope you understand, Holly. Nothing about our rematch is personal, It's just how this sport is! It's what the fans need, they need their main character, their Iron Man, You are like the Black Widow of this scene.
