I will dismantle all the corruption that lives deeply within the souls of Elitists.

The claim I just made is one that will boggle the minds of many. β€œWinona, do you really think you can accomplish something so ambitious, something so incredible, something so virtually impossible?” is what I’d imagine many may ask. And to that, I would answer that question with another question β€” when has the impossible ever frightened me? I walked into the Jeunesse Arena to face Methuselahβ€”a virtually impossible match for someone that’s essentially just beginning in these bloody waters. And yet? I had no fear. I had no regrets. The word β€œimpossible” itself is a crutch used by those who have grown far too comfortable in decay. β€œImpossible” is the lullaby whispered to keep the status quo asleep and submissive. It is the shield of complacency and the comfy security blanket of the corrupt. If it wasn’t already obvious–I have no interest in comfort. I am not interested in preserving the fragile egos of those who have built their thrones atop rot and refer to it as legacy. I am interested in balance, in exposure, in my message of change, in tearing the floorboards and forcing everyone to look at what festers beneath it all. Though, corruption does not always announce itself with smoke, fire, and bolstering egos for everyone to see. Sometimes, it is subtle. Sometimes, it smiles. Sometimes, it shakes your very hand. Sometimes, it congratulates you on your β€œbright future” while quietly ensuring that future never eclipses its own, hiding behind tradition and disguising itself as the way things have always been done. Worst of all, it convinces those who benefit from it that they earned every inch. There are Elitists who have convinced themselves that they are untouchable because their names just happen to echo a little louder than others. They believe that since they are veterans, tenure is synonymous with virtue. They believe they are gatekeepers who determine worth not based on merit, but on familiarity. Said Elitists do not see themselves as corrupt, but as pillars, as architects, as guardians of some kind of β€œsacred order”. Then again, pillars crack, architects grow lazy, guardians fall asleep β€” and when they do, someone has to be willing to ring the alarm! Now, ask your question once again, faithful viewer of this video. My answer remains the same β€” I do believe I can pull the roots from something that has sunk its limbs deep into this industry. It isn’t because I underestimate the task, not at all. I completely understand the difficulty of the task; I am not going to walk into it naive. I am not going to charge at a mountain with bare hands and blind optimism. I will take it one step at a time. I will remove evil and corruption from wherever it may be. In my eyes, it started from the very first time I entered this company. But in all honesty? It truly begins when I make my marquee debut at Operation: Doomsday.

Jamie Valdez is likely a believer of my earlier sentiment. She believes that just because she is a decorated star elsewhereβ€”she can waltz into Elite Answers Wrestling and do whatever it is she pleases. I reject that ideology. I reject it not out of jealousy, not out of insecurity, and certainly not out of fear β€” but I reject it because of principle. There is a dangerous arrogance that festers in the hearts of those who mistake prior glory for permanent entitlement. I’m sure Jamie Valdez has built an impressive resume in almost every place she steps foot in, but this is not just some place. This is Elite Answers Wrestling. And here, from what I have learned, there are no inherited expectations. Prior glory doesn’t matter. Nothing you’ve said or done prior to stepping foot in this den, doesn’t matter in the slightest. Jamie Valdez will walk into this match with the confidence of someone who has been told β€œyes” for the entirety of her career. She carries herself like some sort of conqueror, entering what she perceives to be foreign territory ready for occupation. I hate to break it to you, Jamie β€” this is not a stage waiting for a star to descend upon it and declare it as illuminated. This is a battlefield where the winner decides what the truth is. This is where sacrifices are made and stories are written in bruises. You believe this is just another company to etch into your growing legend but understand this and understand it very clearly. This place does not care about anthologies; it does not care about press releases or highlight reels crafted from another realm. Frankly? Neither do I. I care about survival, about who can endure when the lights are the brightest and the pressure is the heaviest. I care about who can stand upright when illusions are stripped from the lenses of the world. That is where you and I differ. You arrived expecting recognition and applause. I arrived expecting resistance. You walked in with a resume; I walked in with a mission. When I fought Methuselah, I’m sure many believed me to have been reckless for even considering myself as a legitimate individual to defeat him. They believed I was stepping into waters far too deep for someone with my level of experience. I was told I’d drown β€” but I did not drown. I swam. I got back onto shore and proved that fear is merely a choice β€” a choice I blatantly rejected. That same rejection still pulses through my veins, and as I prepare to face you at Operation: Doomsday β€” it will pulse all the same. For you, this is merely just another match, right? I’m glad that’s the case. Because for me? It is a statement. Because you represent more than just a mere competitor. You represent an ideology that I have sworn to dismantle β€” the quiet assumption that prestige in another realm translates to dominance here. The belief that the red carpet should roll itself out because you’ve arrived. The belief that glory doesn’t have to be β€œearned” by proper means.

The same goes for you, Mia Santoro. Do not believe that even for the most minute second, I am going to grant you any excuses because you found yourself as The Specialists Champion not too long ago. Championship glory is not a shield against scrutiny, it is not a lifetime exemption from being questioned β€” if anything, it is an invitation to be examined much closer. Titles do not sanctify you by any means. They do not elevate you beyond critique. They do not place you above the very system I am here to challenge. You wore that championship, you carried it, you represented an entire division with it. That is commendable! But understand this β€” commendable does not mean you are untouchable. You fall under the same boat that I placed Jamie Valdez into. Prior glory does not mean you are untouchable. I am sure you may believe that your reign proves something important, that it validates your place within this invisible hierarchy that governs Elite Answers Wrestling β€” but unfortunately for you, championships are mere moments in time. Snapshots that capture who you were in that specific stretch, not who you are forever. If you have convinced yourself that the word β€œformer” still echoes loud enough to silence anyone, command a room, or even demand a red carpet be rolled out for you β€” then you have fallen into the same trap as Jamie Valdez. Entitlement disguised as accomplishment. I do not deny your capabilities, Mia β€” I do not deny that you have reached a summit that many women aspire to reach, myself included. What I do deny, however, is the assumption that your past success places you beyond the very message I am delivering at this very moment. You are not exempt, none of you are. The Specialists Championship is a symbol of excellence in a particular moment, but it does not grant you immunity from what must happen. It does not guarantee that you remain ahead of those who are clawing their way upward with the intent of accomplishing my mission. I hope you know that I am clawing, Mia. When that bell rings, there will be no room left for entitlement. No room for any nostalgia that you may have from your run as Specialists Champion. No room for the comfort of past achievements. There will only be execution. You may both believe that I am attempting to make a statement at your expense, and that belief is utterly correct. Truth is? Statements require impact. If dismantling the corruption of this industry, means confronting those who symbolize different layers of entitlement within this company? Then so be IT. Jamie, your imported prestige does not intimidate me. Mia, your former Specialists Championship reign does not intimidate me. Operation: Doomsday will be about what either of you have done with your careers. It will be about what I am willing to do. With Anna Wautier by my side β€” I won’t flee from this battle. I will level the field and make my will known to the world.
