After six amazing months of ruling Showdown as Answers World Champion alongside Harper Lee and Silas World, it's over. He has been dethroned as World Champion and he is PISSED!! As far as he is concerned, he should still be Answers World Champion because of the crap that went down at Pain for Pride to cause him to lose.

If they think that Donovan Duke or Silas World are dead, they have another thing coming. Donovan wants his gold BACK and he has no issue becoming an even bigger nightmare than ever before, but in style and flair of elegance and confidence that can only be brought about by "The Debonair One". Showdown better be ready.

After King of Elite 2026, Donovan was the final man eliminated as he lost the National Elite Championship match... and then he preceded to lose his mind by hitting the referee with "Ruin and Demise" before attacking a couple of fans and destroying the ringside area before being taken down and arrested. People have started calling Donovan "crazy" and a "psychopath", but Donovan doesn't think he is. We don't know how long that will last, but he for sure knows that now nobody is safe and he is more than willing to create a path of destruction to get exactly what he wants.

Tendency to Cheat: Occasionally. Win by any means necessary. But he always keeps it together to make sure he doesn’t get disqualified no matter how crazy he is. A little extra advantage never hurt anything.

Donovan had his spot at the top of the mountain ripped from him in the worst way possible and he is on a mission to get it back... by ANY MEANS NECESSARY because he is not the champion that EAW wants, he's the champion that EAW NEEDS!!

Favorite Match Types: Any. He can cause pain in any type of match he is in. The more pain he can cause, the better.
Least Favorite Match Types: None. He is determined to do whatever it takes to prove his point, be successful, and keep the spotlight on him. That means competing in any match thrown his way.
Favorite Weapon: Brass Knuckles or the Steel Talon Baton he used at Pain for Pride
Wrestling Style: Donovan main style is technical, but he can fly, he can brawl, and he can use power considering he can throw around any opponent of any size in EAW. Now he also loves to cause as much pain as possible to his opponents. His main means of torture include joint manipulation and suplexing his opponents into the steel ring post, but those aren't his only means of torture.

>No Fear: Donovan is not afraid of anybody and will never back down from a fight against any opponent no matter how much bigger or stronger they are.
>Adaptable: Donovan considers himself an all-around wrestler. He can change his style to match or get the advantage over his opponent...no matter the size or experience level
>Underestimated: Some opponents immediately underestimate him because he's one of the smaller members of the EAW roster. He knows it too and takes full advantage of that when the match begins.
>Reading Opponents: His years of poker playing have given Donovan an uncanny ability to read opponents by their eyes, body language, or movements. That helps him stay two steps ahead of his opponents and keep them off-kilter.
>Never Say Die: Very persistent/stubborn. Will keep fighting until he absolutely has nothing left.
>Powerful: Even as one of the smallest men on the roster, he can show off his power and feats of strength against his opponents when given the opportunity.

>Mouthy: Donovan isn't afraid to speak what is on his mind (good or bad) and that can either help his cause...or sometimes get him into trouble.

NOTES ​

>Sometimes when competing, Donovan gets this very deranged smile on his face as he causes pain to his opponents (now that he "might" be a little bit crazy)

>Donovan is dating Harper Lee and does care a lot for her (even though he isn't the best at showing it sometimes). Harper is probably the best person (possibly the only person) to snap Donovan out of his rage or "crazy fits".

>Has been learning video games from Harper Lee. If you are lucky, you might see him on one of Harper's twitch streams playing (and more than likely losing).

>Donovan isn't afraid to throw down if the situation calls for it. He might be regarded as a technical wrestler, but he can brawl with the best of them. Now that he is "crazy", he will take no issue in beating the hell out of somebody.

>During his time in EAW, Donovan has been able to earn his Black Belt in BJJ. That has made his strikes and submissions that much more powerful.

>Hates the thought of submitting during a match. He will do whatever he can to fight through the pain, but he's realistic and doesn't want to risk injury. If he sees that there is absolutely no chance for survival, he will give it up to fight another day.

>A student of the game. Does varying types of training to keep in shape, tie everything together, and diversify his wrestling arsenal. Outside of wrestling, Donovan loves to do MMA (training his grappling, striking, and submission skills) and occasionally gymnastics (training his high-flying and acrobatic skills and accuracy).

Hello, I realize your thread hasn't been responded to yet so I just wanted to bring you up to speed. We are at the end of the season and in the middle of the buildup to our biggest show of the year Pain for Pride, therefore the new sign ups can't be assigned to a brand because following Pain for Pride the season ends and everybody becomes free agents up until the draft which occurs a week after Pain for Pride.

With that said, you'll be sorted to a brand on the fourth of July weekend and you'll be booked in a Fight Grid match on this coming Sunday following PFP against an opponent we'll inform you of when the time comes along with deadline information. Thanks for bearing with us and welcome to EAW!
