CM Banks - Magic/Bird: To me, if there was no Bird or Magic? I have a hard time thinking that basketball would be a relevant sport. Likewise with EAW, if it weren't for Banks' contribution? I don't think EAW would be the top tier e-fed it was under the first few years under Banks. If I'm being honest, if there is no Banks, there's no such thing as "EAW to NBA comparison" thread.
DEDEDE - Michael Jordan. This is just a no-brainer. DEDEDE and Michael Jordan are classified as individuals that are a perfectionist. DEDEDE and Michael Jordan embed themselves of trying to be in the "moment". DEDEDE and Jordan love the idea of pressure because they want to be the frontline news. For me, if there's ever someone that has ice in his veins like Jordan, it is DEDEDE.
Xavier Williams - LeBron James. When I think of LeBron, I think of LeBron being possibly the best basketball player from the aesthetic point of view. LeBron could do everything such as being a point god, rebound like a forward and score as a primary scorer. He is a Swiss Army Knife. Throw away all the accomplishments and objectively look at whose the best basketball player of all-time (There's a difference between GOAT and best), the answer would be LeBron James. Who would that be to me? I think that in regards as to whose the Swiss Army Knife within EAW, the answer would be Xavier Williams to me. Xavier's greatness is due to making people feel accommodated within Xavier's greatness, just like LeBron's. Xavier's contribution as an overall e-fedder is just like LeBron's contribution to basketball in which, anything that Xavier puts dedication to is not only great but makes his peers around him better too.
Tyler Parker - Russell Westbrook. I think this is an easy comparison because people view both, Tyler and Russell as divisive individuals. I don't think they are divisive whatsoever. Tyler and Russell to me are passionate individuals that simply care a lot about the dedication they put their time into. To say that Russell and Tyler can't co-exist with other people is a false statement. Russell complemented Durant very well, that OKC side was just too injury-prone at such an inconvenient time. Tyler has succeeded under different chairmen and head writers that had the privileged to see the Tyler Parker character in action. Tyler and Russell are a freak of nature when they deliver their performances. I wouldn't want to mess with them one bit.
Carlos - Dirk. It's taken a long time for Carlos to win a title like Dirk, but just like Dirk? It's worth it. Like Dirk, you can't really envision Carlos as some sort of a villain. Like Dirk, you can't really have an agenda against Carlos, because what did he do to you? Like Dirk, Carlos to me had the best of intentions towards his peers, even if it comes at the expenses of Carlos' accomplishments. Dirk took a paycut as a means of attracting free agents to Dallas. Carlos had to play the second wheel in some storylines. In some cases, just like Dirk, Carlos has suffered heartbreaking losses that I wouldn't blame him if he did quit e-feds altogether. It's taken a long time, but to me? Your story is quite the inspiration for veterans such as me, who hasn't tasted that elusive gold yet.
