To The British Invasion, winning these EAW Unified Tag Team Championships means a couple of very selfish things. For one, it means that both Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley have finally done something credible within their lives. It is direct evidence that after being present upon the market for years on end and having scored absolutely zero credible accolades? It was all worth it, because now they would have finally obtained one, core accolade, together. It proves that the constant errors that they had been accustomed to throughout their lives and careers - both collectively and individually - would have all been for the greater good as light graciously shone through the end of their long, dark tunnel and presented itself with open arms.. It may have taken a long stretch of time, but it would have finally happened. After weeks of empty promises, months of consistent failure, and an approach to this Grand Rampage so poor, it would all prove to be nothing but some missteps. Large missteps, of course, but temporary ones at that. They did not last forever.. So The Britain Invasion hopes to be saying upon the morning of the twenty second of April. If Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley are able to capture this tandem crown against NICHOLISM, it means that they have finally been able to push through their glass ceiling of being nothing more than two incapable tag team merchants, and have finally solidified themselves as the best that there is to offer within this division after seven different tries on average. It would be a long, bumpy road, but one that shows their exact growth throughout the years. The British Invasion would have taken these Unified Tag Team Championships so that they could finally feel the luxury of being in a position that they do not deserve to stand within, shamelessly.
For two, it means that both Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley would finally be able to add some well needed substance to their words. They would be able to add some definite reason - some back up to their threats, their claims, and their status as a whole as some sort of warning and / or fear that is usually issued through these exact words of professional wrestlers has been lacking ever since their initial debuts. Each piece of work that they have put out this week has largely been fastened on the idea of basic hypotheticals, “what if” possibilities, and the fact that the result of winning against Alexis and The Ruler of Everything is only what they feel should happen instead of what they actually know will happen. They of course feel as if these EAW Unified Tag Team Championships have long been due, but asides from that feeling.. It is not true. It is not known at all. It is not completely factual; It is false. Of course, by general common sense, it has been quite challenging for any of us at NICHOLISM to truthfully take the statements of The British Invasion and hold it in a light of meaning due to the very nature of their questionable expression. I mean, how could you hear any of this and acknowledge it as meaningful when two lifelong disappointments to this very tag team division are still cycling through the same content that put them into this unfortunate position in the first place? You can’t, and you can never.. But if by some miracle these two are able to fight through the criticism that they do not listen to, and fight through their unnecessary, easily laughable comments.. then that changes their future completely. A complete one-eighty, realistically, because now? The British Invasion would have taken these Unified Tag Team Championships so that they could finally be taken a slight bit seriously thanks to not wanting to be seen as foolish any longer, shamelessly.
For third… Well. Who am I kidding? The pattern here is sadder than I had originally thought up within my head, because not a single reason as to why these two want to win the EAW Unified Tag Team Championships is beneficial to EAW. Not a single motivation for defeating NICHOLISM sees a positive on the other side of that page, nor does a better product step forward. Sure, it would benefit the name value of Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley, but when they aren’t - and have not been - standout, household names within the company, then what positives does it bring? When they have not been a key part of EAW programming for the better part of the last few years like The Revolutionizer and The Cornerstone has… Then what new, exciting shine to the promotion and division really presents itself? I can tell you. Absolutely, positively none. Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley are mediocrity at its finest. The British Invasion is an experiment gone wrong, just like its Devolution precursor was from the very moment that the original trio showed its ugly face. The only way that the tag team division moves with those two at the helm is down, and not just a slight downward spiral. No, an entire down-tick spike, and to say that it isn’t earned would be a lie.. A very unfortunate lie, but one that still mustn’t be stated — because The British Invasion has absolutely earned their terrible reputation, tragic position, and valueless aroma. It is not anything to be proud of by a long shot, but it is still the reality of their current existence as a result of their inability to put forth a coherent result of victory. Therefore, why would it all randomly start back up right now? Why would momentum start at this year's Grand Rampage just so that they can now say they HAVE some back up, and so that they can present a sentence or two relating to being the peak of tag team wrestling under The Land of The Elite? It isn’t realistic, and it isn’t a plausible scenario.. very far from it. NICHOLISM is not going to allow any of it, because we are what is right.
Contrary to what The British Invasion would “bring”, Alexis and I have already proven to flourish with flashing colours as a team that the tag team division can rely upon. A team that can pick up where the last few great teams left off - if any - and fly onwards as the centre piece. We are first time workers within this particular division on both ends of the stick, and even despite that, NICHOLISM has already begun a vast legacy of greatness. We didn’t need second tries. We didn’t need different partners. We didn’t need any assistance.. All we needed was one match, one, good friend, and one clear opportunity. That is what happened at Operation: Doomsday. We have thus started a run similar to one of our back to back New Breed Championship reigns as we are here for one thing and one thing only; To return needed prestige. These titles to us do not mean the same thing as it does to Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley, and that is a good thing as we are better professional wrestlers overall, and we do not operate under a flawed tag team model. We are not looking for acknowledgement, as we have long been acknowledged as the future of this place thanks to our skill. We aren’t looking to capture our first, genuine accolade, as we were both good enough to get there very early on into our careers thanks to our drive. And we definitely are not looking to add some substance to our work, as our work is what is giving THESE championships its prestigious substance as we speak. The title doesn't make the Elitist like The British Invasion want to believe... The Elitist makes the title, and we are here to make the EAW tag team division as great as it possibly can be within 2024 no matter who or what stands within the way. We’re doing this not only for ourselves, we’re doing this for all of EAW. We’re doing this for the sake of the tag team division. We’re doing this for the betterment of this company. We’re doing this so the tag team division can have prominent tag teams that aren’t just two Elitists thrown together and told “work together or no career for you”. There is so much more to our goal that The British Invasion will never be able to understand. There is so much more to our goal that will never be recognised because they simply don’t want to recognise it. They want to be so blinded away from our ambitions because they know it is for the better of this company. When The British Invasion said that they wanted to take these championships from us, when The British Invasion said they would do anything in their will and anything in their power in order to beat us — to win at Grand Rampage — it was simply foolish. They made enemies out of Alexis and I.
And it doesn’t help that they had to use Alexis’ own girlfriend, and batter her skull in and destroy her in that chicago street fight on Super Showdown after a pathetic display of emotional wordplay to take her off her game in the first place, just to try and make things personal between the four of us — to try and send a message, make a statement, to prove a point. Just know Pandora, you didn’t do shit. You didn’t obtain what you wanted to get out of this. If anything, you made it all that much worse for you. It is going to be a harsh reality to accept now once Grand Rampage comes and it goes, and you are left without the Unified Tag Team Championships that you were never going to earn in the first place. I can say the same to Halsey. She thinks she is the shit. She thinks she’s so tough. She thinks what she is doing is making it all that much easier for her to finally win some gold here in EAW, and yet there is no way that she is walking out of Grand Rampage intact, with any sort of victory over NICHOLISM. Because NICHOLISM is simply superior to The British Invasion in every way, shape, and form. NICHOLISM is about so much more than just a friendship. NICHOLISM is about so much more than just a partnership. This is our life. This is everything that we have worked for, whether it was together, whether it was with each other, or against each other. We have always found a way to get the job done. And we were always going to get the job done at Operation: Doomsday whether Pandora and Halsey wanted to stick their noses in our business or not. To put it lightly, yes, this is just the first of many championship defences for NICHOLISM here in Elite Answers Wrestling. This is just the first of what is about to be so much more to come in the EAW Unified Tag Team Championships reign of Alex Myers and The Ruler of Everything, and who is going to stop that? Is Pandora Paisley going to stop that? Nope. Is Halsey Neel going to stop that? Nope. They don't stand a chance against us. It was a good effort for such a poor attempt, I will very much so give them that. But they still failed to pass the test. They still failed to pass the finish line. They were always going to end up failing to pass the finish line. NICHOLISM versus The British Invasion at Grand Rampage 2024 is a match that a lot of people have been anticipating because of their involvement in our championship win at Operation: Doomsday, but it was never going to be competitive to begin with, not when we are miles better than them.
They are helpless sheep desperately looking for fame, and their last memory before being sent to the slaughter will be these words; as The British Invasion falls, NICHOLISM was always going to rise. As The British Invasion was doomed to fail, NICHOLISM was always going to save and influence the world by getting rid of them. Devolution was buried, and The British Invasion is going to be buried alongside them, much like they were always meant to be. It is a testament to fate - destiny itself, as consequences do not go unrealized. Never. One way or another, consequences always turn its head back around at the most unsuspecting of times.. And whilst NICHOLISM may see this coming on the end of The British Invasion, they obviously do not. Whether it be genuine, or through ignorance, The Hellcat and The Ripper do not see the effects of their actions making its way back around in time for the weekend. They fail to notice the direct fallout of their undoubtedly terrible decisions, and this is why we must do what we have been asked and send The British Invasion out of contention. Forever.
