I had a feeling this moment was coming, ever since your heel turn you've been firing on all cylinders and the tremendous effort you put into your Grand Rampage performance completely justified the victory. You followed through with it and now you can say you're not only a world champion, but a Pain for Pride victor! Huge congratulations!

@Charlie Marr Reading the promos throughout your reign was always a blast, Charlie is such an entertaining villain; completely indulgent in his own vile attitude, he's a character that I genuinely love to hate. I'm glad you had this high-quality reign after the season you've had, and now it's time to see what the Tyrant does next!

I feel like I am probably one of the worst people here when it comes to replying to threads like these, and you all deserve better than that. Everyone deserves their flowers and this upcoming season I'm going to make sure these threads start becoming mainstays again. I am very proud of you @Jake Smith and the work you have done since returning. I know that towards the end of your Answers World Championship run you were burnt out and not very happy with promoing, and we all go through that. This is a taxing hobby that often feels like a job, and you had to do what was best for you, and I don't fault you for that at all. You came back strong, ready to prove yourself once again and that's what you did. My fellow five, you won the Grand Rampage and turned that into an EAW Championship victory and that was great to see. @Drake King and I were so perplexed on how we were supposed to book a heel versus heel world title feud for Pain for Pride, so we just decided to make Jake and @Charlie Marr just completely despicable. Needless to say, this whole thing has ended up being one of my favorite feuds to see unfold and both of you gave it everything you had.

Thank you for that and I can't wait for the moment where you inevitably disappoint me and make me regret having you on Voltage.

As for you, Charlie, you are one of my primary muses, even now, and seeing you get back to where you deserve to be was amazing to see this season. I think it goes without saying that no one will ever love Charlie Marr to the extent that I do and the person behind him is pretty great too. Congratulations on everything you accomplished in Season 17. Another world title run was a long time coming for you and so well deserved. I hope you enjoyed it, and I know that there are more great things in your future.

@Jake Smith Congratulations! It's always awesome seeing surprises like this especially during Pain for Pride season, and if there's anyone who deserves an achievement like this it's you. You've been a super creative writer as always, and you never fail to make Jake into a super hateable character in ways that nobody would even think of besides you. You just get it with efedding and it's why you're such an important member to have here. You've always been super talented, and it is good to see you make it to another World Championship reign thanks to that fact. I can't wait to see what'll come out of this reign, and to seeing what Jake Smith's road to Pain for Pride will look like after this win.

@Veena Adams Incredible Championship reign, and a super well deserved one. It wouldn't be the first time it's been pointed out how far Veena has come as a character, but I think this Championship reign took that to another level, with Veena being one of the longest reigning World Champions we've had in recent memory. Your promos have been top tier and just go to show why Veena has been the face of Showdown this season. This entire reign was fantastic, and I am happy that you were able to do everything you have with this character. Amazing work as always!

@Jake Smith I hope you are proud of yourself because Donny absolutely HATES you now because he wanted to end the reign. But in the reality of things, you are, have, and always will be my brother in arms and I am nothing but proud and happy for you and excited to see where this reign takes you. I love you, my brother, and I wish you nothing but the best. Congratulations!

@Veena Adams Donny has always hated you, but I think the hatred that Veena and Donovan have for each other have led to some amazing matches throughout our rivalry and your reign as Champion and brought out the best in each other. You are one of the best around and nobody will doubt that. Your reign was spectacular and legendary and it was an honor to be part of Veena's World Championship story. Nothing but love and respect for you and congratulations on such an amazing reign as champion.

@Veena Adams goat shit chica y'all done had a long ass title reign and it was a long time coming. I ain't expected it to come to an end on a random weekly show but anything can happen most definitely. I was hyped I got to be a part of yo big moment at PFP winning the title even if we ain't got to work together during yo reign I been paying attention and it was Much luv much respect as always.

Better late than never, for there is no way I cannot pay respects to the two of you @Jake Smith and @Kassidy Heart ! You are part of this game, and it's the community's foundation as individuals, and your work as bookers, not to mention the Legend-level of skills you display every time you drop a promo, is worthy of admiration, nothing less.

It was a surprise to read Jake become Champion on an episode of Showdown, but a pleasant one, which makes me excited to see how his defence against Veena will go and past that. The character is a pure asshole, but the person writing for him isn't. Cheers to a great reign!

Veena had a legendary run with the title. I love how her story unfolded from her first steps all the way to breaking out on her own and building her undeniable legacy. All powered by the genius and creativity of the player who writes her. Much respect, the future will be golden for Veena, no doubt about it.
