Hello, by now you're all probably aware of the situation with promo likes being abused resulting in the ability to like/react to a promo being restricted. It was never my intention for things to get to this point. The absolute last thing I wanted to do was ruin the fun for everyone else. My initial intent was to show support back to those that supported me, but it snowballed into something that it shouldn't have. And because of that, I want to take full responsibility for the part that I played and apologize to everyone, especially the people who had nothing to do with it. :wow: It's not fair to you, and I'm sorry. I'm also sorry to whoever the situation may have offended/affected because I know how hard it may be to put your all into something and not receive the feedback or recognition you feel it may deserve. I wish I had a way to make it right for everyone, but unfortunately, I don't. So all I can do is take ownership of my part in the situation and apologize to you all. I'm sorry.

I wasn’t going to respond directly in this thread because I didn’t want this to become a public scene for non-members but thanks to Pehrox I’ll say what I have to say here. The issue isn’t a matter of you reciprocating support back to others, the issue is you constantly asking others to give a certain type of support in the form of promo likes which whether indirectly or not, diminishes the work of others. When you’re in a triple threat match against two hall of fame handlers and you’re averaging 20+ likes/reactions and the actual guy who won the match has 3-4 likes at most and the world champion vs world champion back and forth doesn’t come anywhere close to the amount you got.. it looks ridiculous. It undermines your opponents when they’re lucky to get like 3 likes vs you getting 16 likes which come to find out aren’t even organic and discourages them. It sets a bad precedent and bad optics especially when you have multiple members who are going out of their way to like your promos under their main and alt accounts to manipulate the numbers. It sets a bad example for new members, most of whom were the ones partaking in this. It promotes bad habits early on which in my experience of dealing with efedders over the years, manifests into even worse things. Y’all are focused on the wrong shit. As you can see with the PFP and draft results, promo likes mean nothing to the bookers when it comes time to judging for the winner.

You’re a good promoer and somebody who would get a decent amount of likes without the extra stuff, clearly somebody I felt was worthy enough to hold a championship here, but the fact that you felt the need to keep this up for several months and when I spoke out against it people laughed and continued to do so, makes me have to resort to disabling them completely for the promo page so y’all can see that it’s not a joke. I see some of the same culprits of the whole situation also liking this post which is ironic. If/when I bring back promo reactions, none of the people who constantly partook in it will have the power to like promos and it’s at least 10 of you not counting Kelton. These are the consequences unfortunately and I hope going forward people can focus on what really matters here.

Nah you're right and the last thing I want is for everyone to have to suffer through consequences for stupid shit that I did. EAW is supposed to be fun, and I'd never want to put someone in a position as to where they feel their work isn't up to par or good enough. I would never knowingly try to create that atmosphere. I'll admit I never saw it from that point of view in the beginning but I definitely see that now, and I'm sorry to everyone it affected. I said before that my intent was to support those that supported me, and while that is partially true, the other side of that was because I wanted to bring more attention and traction to my own work. Not realizing how unfair that could be to everyone else. I do see that now and I'm sorry. :wow:
