‘Granted, such a demand could sound unreasonable at best and obnoxious at worst should the one making the demand not be able to back it up, but that would not be the case. I’ll give credit where credit is due to ToXXXin for their rather decisive attempt at a power grab. When making a splash, one wouldn’t settle for a mere puddle when they have access to the ocean, yes? And who better to take out first than the three men with the most untapped power on Voltage? It all makes perfect sense so that I won’t need a proper explanation from the ever-talkative Minerva. I’d love to blame a simple domino fall for this mess we’ve found ourselves in, but I’m sure that it’s more intricate than that. Nothing about this is a natural series, nor has it been left up to chance. My intention was to ensure total victory over Daniella Atlas after she robbed me of it in our previous meeting, so I could move on to my and Ashlynn’s carefully orchestrated Unified Tag Team title match. Instead, I’ve got to deal with ToXXXin breathing down my neck and Fire & Ice just over the horizon, and if I were a lesser man, I am sure I would buckle under the tremendous pressure. Fortunately, I am no such lesser man, so fret not. I doubt that my capabilities are enough to handle such a congested schedule, as stamina is a vital component in becoming great; thus, it must be something else that irks me so. An overlord must be used to the presence of circling vultures; furthermore, they must be willing to invite such restless scavengers. I, a man who holds power far beyond the limits of my contemporaries, must be prepared at all times to deny glory to those contemporaries as they attempt to use my grandeur as a stepping stone towards their own dreams. I shall encourage such dreamers, as their push to achieve their aspirations is what makes my own journey that much more worth it. It is the nature of competition, after all, to subjugate the dreams of one’s rivals, to use their drive as fuel to rise atop the world itself. It is the journey towards immortality that I once tried to explain to Jay Jerry Johnson, and I am here once again trying to explain it.’

‘And I should start with the pleasantries of such a bout, as this will be my first proper shot at gold since arriving in EAW. For all my early accolades, of which few could ever claim to match, I have unfortunately not been afforded a title match. Whether it was winning the 24/7 Battle Royal in my first Pain For Pride or winning War Games in my first full season, it would appear that I’ve taken a more scenic route to what we are all here for. Glory has been the aim for each and every elitist before me and for each elitist that will come after me, and the quickest route to glory is through gold. And while Ashlynn remains the reigning and defending New Breed Champion and I continue to hold the 24/7 Contract, we found it fitting that we both be rewarded for our unmatched seasons thus far. Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts, two esteemed veterans and highly touted elitists, have stood as the bulwark of the tag team division, even pitching in to assist Dynasty in their victorious Brand Warfare team back at Territorial Invasion. And I must admit that they are a similar boat as I and Ashlynn. There is quite a lot on Rex’s and Raven’s plates as they prepare for the Extreme Elimination Chamber and search for world championship glory. And allow me to preface by saying that I respect what the both of you have done and accomplished, but I believe a major miscalculation has been made. Rex, for all your observations, it appears that you’ve missed something imperative, so allow me a chance to enlighten you. My greatness, my ‘preordained rise’ as you so eloquently put it, will remain absolute until I am proven wrong. And I have invited each and every opponent I’ve met to do so, and ignoring the abnormal, none have managed to do so. Whether it was at Pain For Pride or Territorial Invasion, I walked into matches that were meant to test my mental fortitude and to find out if I was really all that, and I stand here now as a War Games winner and 24/7 Contract holder. So, Rex, tell me, have I been proven wrong? Every misstep has been rectified, every opportunity has been seized, and every doubter has been shut up once and for all. I look around at not just Voltage but, EAW as a whole, and I can confidently say that no one is having a better debut year than I, no one has taken this company by storm as I have, and no one is in a better position to ascend to the top of the ladder of EAW like I am.’
‘Inevitability can take many forms, since it is quite a simple concept. Regardless of the progress made and how long it takes, the end result remains the same. It may take years or it may take days, but an inevitable result remains just that. You see Raven, Ashlynn hasn’t even reached her peak performance, and yet she is already standing atop the New Breed division and is capable of going toe to toe with the very best that EAW has to offer. We are not even at our very best yet and we are still a match for the best tag teams that EAW has to offer, and that includes Fire & Ice. But, that’s the scariest thing about inevitabilities, right? You can already see it, you can already see that we are going to reach your level and move past you, and there’s nothing you can do about it. When I talk about those stars above you, I speak of the inevitable destination I intend to reach, that both of us will reach, and it is a destination that you can never attain. So while you are comfortable atop your mountain, we’ll be shooting for a spot even higher. Of course, this isn’t a changing of the guard, nor is it some grand paradigm shift. What it is, however, is the beginning of a change. It is the catalyst for the next era, an era of which I am an envoy of and an overlord above. So, while my words remain absolute, I'll leave you both with another of my proclamations; you may lie to yourself all that you want to, but it won’t change a thing. You can pretend, you can deny, and you can continue to ignore what is standing in front of you, because while you were already settled into your false sense of security, we’ve already reached your level. And now, we will surpass it and take your Unified Tag Team Championships as well.
