The cameras showcase Jay Starr back in the natural setting he's been in for most of his segments. But, this time, he's sitting straight on the couch and is staring blankly at the camera. Not a single limb moving around.
"Nejari Young,
I understand that me and you fought each other and I lost but we have a lot in common and you've mentioned it. Our records are not as pretty as we wished for it to be.", Starr points out while still sitting very still on the luxurious couch.
"But, I'll tell you this, I'm starting to feel more hungry for wins and this is our first ever tag team match in our respective EAW careers so I understand that you & I have the same mindset. While we're entirely two different people personality wise, I think you're alright with me."
"One group of individuals that I don't know anything about and don't really care to try and get to know them is Fire & Ice, they're me & Nejari's opponents tonight."
"Fire & Ice, you definitely are one of EAW's most established tag teams ever; no doubt about it, but one mistake could cost you guys a win against two "rookies" which would be embarrassing to put on your record. Am I right or am I wrong?"
"Like Nejari said, please bring your A-game. Give us a challenge, make us work hard to beat you and let our hard work and determination pay off. Make sure that we struggle to even get close to beating you, make sure that we are put through so much hard work that we don't want to keep on going but yet we force each other to keep going. Because, I guarantee you that me & Nejari are far more determined to getting the job done and if it means getting through Fire & Ice and using you guys as a stepping stone to our respective success, it is absolutely no problem to me!", Starr starts getting louder and louder with his words as the camera slowly zooms in on his face.
He takes a second to breathe as all the past weeks of failure start to catch up to him whether he liked it or not.
"I don't got much else to say, just show us what you got and let's get this over with!", Starr shouts as he gets up and slaps himself in the face, hustling out of the frame with the mindset to win locked in.
