I hate to break it to you, Cody, but you’re fighting for the wrong cause. I suppose it’s not wrong in your mind because the perception is that Silas World is the big bad that is trying to take over Saturday Night Showdown. You, along with everyone else, are on the right wavelength to try and take us down and preserve what you believe to be sacred, and that is the integrity of this brand. I may give you that, I amy even say that our means are selfish if that’s what floats your boat, but the problem is that regardless of who is right or wrong, it is still a losing battle. I mean, can’t you see it with the people that you’ve aligned yourself with? What do these goals truly mean to a team like The Hustler’s Alliance? TLA had the opportunity to preserve his Answers World Championship reign from last year but couldn’t even last to Bronson Daniels before Donovan Duke inevitably took it into his possession. Now he’s stuck in tag team limbo and just failed an opportunity even to conquer that. What makes him think that Grand Rampage or even the rest of this season is going to prove to be a turning point for him? Ryan has been trying to “raise his stock” from the minute he entered this company 30 years ago, and yet has stayed completely stagnant, with nothing changing no matter how much he’s changed or how loudly he says it. You can’t deny that he’s an absolute failure, and the fact that you got to the National Elite Championship before him should say a lot about his status in this company. Why are you confident in your abilities to fight a very lopsided battle, especially when your two compadres over there are not going to help you in the slightest? That’s what I don’t understand, Cody. Perhaps it’s blind ambition, or perhaps it’s you believing that because of your heightened role in this company, you need to do this no matter how insurmountable it is, but it’s not going to lead you anywhere. You should do what you say you’re going to do, and that’s be prepared to defend your Championship, because that’s certainly your best option instead of picking fights that you know that you can’t win. Even after everything, I don’t have any qualms with you. What has been conducted, especially this past weekend, is all business; it doesn’t mean that I’m going to slight your hard work. But just know that no matter my affiliation, my status as Specialists Champion means just as much as your affiliation as National Elite Champion, and I’m not stung by this burden of expectations like you are, because I know that I’ve been ready for this my entire career, absolutely nothing is going to take that away from me. If you aren’t so sure of that yourself, Cody, then maybe you should check yourself before you wreck yourself.
I mean, c’mon, paired with a lunatic like TLA? Someone who is clearly off his rocker and more than willing to go scorched earth on not just Silas World, but the entirety of Saturday Night Showdown? I mean, you heard what he said. If Silas Mason had reached out to him about an offer, then we would have had a real vato on our side! Is this someone that you honestly want to trust? I’m not trying to create dissension or anything; that’s pretty pathetic and very low-hanging fruit, but these are reasonable concerns to have, especially for a man who is only focused on himself and nobody else. If you guys think that he’s genuinely fighting for the entirety of Showown like Ryan might be, or Cody might be, or Elysium might be, then you’re making a fool of yourself. The only reason that he’s enlisted in this fight is because 1) He doesn’t have much of a choice, and 2) He knows that if he lets Silas World run amock, then it’s going to come at the expense of what we assume to be the tail end of his career. He’s telling you everything that you need to know right then and there. But you know what? Let’s assume that’s not the case. Let’s think for a minute that he’s focused on destroying us for the sake of this brand (he isn’t). Would he be able to go through with such a claim? Well, just like the rest of his team, the answer is the same: not. Because TLA, it’s not that you’re “washed” like what people are saying about you, it’s that your time has passed you by. Maybe if you were on Silas World like the rest of us, then that would’ve been the case, but I guess you didn’t get the invitation, and while that’s not on you, what is on you is the fact that you have chosen your side. You’re going to be left behind like everyone else in this place, and it’s not going to be much of a loss if you don’t main-event Pain For Pride and just retire like you promise that you’re going to do. But I’d be a fool to even treat that as having any sort of chance in this current climate because you know just as much as I do that we have a vice grip over the main event scene. We have just as much control as we do the Showdown brand, so it wouldn’t be wrong of me to say that we’re going to see the likes of Donovan Duke or Harper Lee in the main event instead of you. You can try; we’re certainly not stopping you, but we know that it’s not going to happen. So you can go crazy on this brand some other day because it’s not going to lead to much other than empty threats and promises unfulfilled on your end.
One thing that both members of The Hustler’s Alliance were so quick to say was this idea that I have to ride the coattails of a more successful group to get my way around here. Something that is such a dated mentality that it blows my mind that we’re still having this conversation right now. It’s something that you could’ve said at least a year ago and have some sort of foundation for your argument, but when I’ve been keeping my head down and working hard since December of last year and somehow have more accomplished in that time than Ryan Joseph Wilson has in his career, needless to say there’s only so much room to talk. Ryan, I’m going to be completely honest with you: You’ve always bored me. It’s not the fact that you consistently run your mouth to no end and that would irritate anyone. I think we all know at this point that no matter how much you do, it constantly leads to failure. It’s a fact that every time we face each other, you come up with the same, outdated, boring arguments. At least I have some validity to say that you’ve accomplished nothing in your career because, well, you’ve accomplished nothing in your career. You haven’t proven me wrong on that. Meanwhile, you continue to say that I cannot accomplish anything on my own and “accepting mediocrity” was as tiring as the first time around at King of Elite. It’s funny how everything has changed about me since then, yet nothing has changed about you other than the fact that you’re in another team with a more successful partner who already has plans of leaving you behind. I mean, maybe if you wanted a hint of success, you’d join Silas World as well. Maybe you need these teams just as much as I do to benefit yourself, because by the looks of things, it doesn’t seem like doing it on your own has been cutting it. Maybe you should’ve talked it over with your teammate TLA, who looked equally interested in Silas World, and maybe you should have done the right thing with your career. But you chose to be stagnant, just like you’ve always chosen to be stagnant every chance that you’ve gotten in your career instead of progressing yourself any further than where you are right now. Every single time around, it’s the same threats that you continuously fail to live up to. Don’t you get bored of that? I was certainly bored of that when I was in your position, and unlike you, I made the necessary steps to grow out of it. What’s your excuse? Do you even have one? Is it even worth speaking to you if you’re going to spew the same incoherent blabber over and over again?! Too many questions, Ryan! Too many questions!!! Anyway, glad to see you haven’t changed one bit. Hope you have fun spending the rest of the season doing what you’ve done the rest of your career and failing at everything that you’re “good” at.
