Everybody obviously knows that there are thirty total participants in the Grand Rampage. The majority of the combatants come from the current rosters of the three brands along with a few surprises along the way, obviously. The reason I bring this up is because every year there seems to be people that me and many others let fall by the wayside because we get into such heated promo battles with the ones who speak the most or speak the loudest. Unless your Ryan Wilson and he’s talking about everyone because he has bestowed himself the honor of being this year’s Mr. ESPN or something. Be that as it may, I have decided to forgo my standard promo action and dedicate this video and this chapter of the story to the members of the Grand Rampage whose names haven’t been mentioned that frequently for one reason or another. Why am I doing this? As it has been stated a million times this week. Anything can happen and anyone can win from the biggest of boulders that will squash you to the smallest of pebbles that can trip you and send you falling off a cliff. It’s still anybody’s game. Anyways, this chapter is dedicated to the soft spoken members of the Grand Rampage match. The ones who will NOT be left behind or forgotten. No, we’re not a damn ohana, but in this type of match, nobody gets away that easy. Nobody gets to fly under the radar undetected. You’re in this match, you’re getting called out.

How about we get the ball rolling and start things off with Hans Grayson. You have certainly come a long way since the days that we were on Showdown together. Back then, you were a cocky little bastard who had the audacity to call one of my matches a “bathroom break”. You ultimately learned the hard way what happens when you smart off to someone like me. You didn’t learn just that, you kept your eyes open, you continued to improve, and you won the New Breed Title at Pain for Pride. I am happy for you. You have grown so much over the last year or so and here you are once again ready to trek through the Grand Rampage in the hopes of finding your way to the main event of Pain for Pride. Normally, I wouldn’t let your mission and your goals affect what’s going on with my life, but unfortunately it does this time and I can’t let that go about unnoticed. But I am curious as to why you haven’t been very vocal this week? Are you deep in match preparation? Or is your focus not completely on this match? I really hope that’s not the case then I can foresee a quick exit from the match in your future. The cards of fate can be so cruel sometimes. So, Fireheart. Are you going to be ready to fight fire with fire with me to see who truly wants this match more? But I hope you are ready to endure a burning sensation because I will turn the heat up as much as I have to in order to win this match.

Who is next up? How about Mig De Decker. The man who calls himself “The Realest Wrestler Around”. Another guy who prides himself on being a technical wrestling marvel. If you are the realest wrestler around, then I guess that would put me on the level of sainthood in the technical wrestling world. Anyways, you haven’t had the best run of luck in recent months, especially since the implosion of your KAI-ZEN group. I mean I get that. Having a group break up because one member thought he was better than the other members. It sucks, but you move on with your life and truly get the chance to figure out what you want for your career. But from what I have seen, you’re a cocky little shit just like many of the other rookies who are entering their first Grand Rampage. But that’s a lecture for another day. I don’t have to be on Dynasty to easily see that you have a horrible attitude and that you think you are better than half the EAW roster. Like I told AJ Redding earlier this week, if you are truly confident in your technical skills, then put them to the real test. Put them against me and I will make sure that you get humbled in a matter of seconds because I am not in the mood to play games with anybody. This match is important to me and to everybody else who has shown how badly they want this. I know you would have no issue taking this match away from me, but that ain’t gonna happen. The only thing you can take away from me are lessons. Watch and learn.

Then we have the “Sin City Superstar” Cody Maverick. For the love of gawd, we have another Jack Ripley. How great for us. Another man who has an “I don’t give a shit” attitude and has no issue pissing people off in order to get what he wants. Good for him. What we have here is another rookie with a cocky demeanor who wants to make the most of this opportunity given to him. As I mentioned before, Cody and numerous others are coming into the Grand Rampage with the sole desire of winning, making an impact, and skyrocketing their career to the main event of Pain for Pride. Not while I’m in this match and have been scratching and clawing from the very bottom of the rung to make it to this level of my career. The climb is still going for me and I am not going to let some little snot try to cut ahead of me in line. Come on, Golden Gloves. You gotta problem with what I’m saying, then step right up. I’m not just a technical savant. I know how to fist fight with the best of them. I know how to take a punch and I ain’t afraid to take a few if it means I walk out the winner of the fight. You live and die by your own morals and beliefs, but this looks like it’s going to be a situation where you die! Go ahead and try to prove me wrong.

Then we have Ashlynn Quinn. Another princess on Showdown with her nose in the air looking down on the rest of us… what does she call us? Oh yeah, “Uggo”. Of course, Ashlynn and Veena were able to get along as long as they did. They have the same personality. But then their relationship hit some bumps and ended up with a few bruises because Veena Adams was her typical Veena Adams self. It’s all about Veena. Damn she can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. Then again, you can be a pain in the ass too, Ashlynn. When I first met you when we were both on Showdown, you were a prissy little bitch. Well you kind of still are but from what I have seen, you have stepped it up in the ring. I don’t care for you, but I can give you credit for that, especially since you were close to becoming the National Elite Champion. Now you are looking for another chance to send your stock to the stratosphere by winning the Grand Rampage and challenging for a World Championship. Admirable, but are you gonna be ready to go toe to toe with me this weekend in order to take the match for yourself. I give you credit for the work you will put in, but you have one mission you have to accomplish to show that you want to win as badly as I do. You will have to kill me. Not just knock me unconscious, you will literally have to get me to stop breathing if you want to get what you want. Sorry, Princess. I step aside for nobody.

What about Kirk Redwood? Now I am curious about something. Hey, Kirk! Are you still a damn boozer? The only reason I was asking was because I heard back then that when you woke up in the morning that the Anheuser-Busch stock went up three points. I shouldn’t mean like that because if you are trying to better yourself, then I should be supportive of your trek to better Kirk Redwood. That journey I will be supportive of. Not the journey of you trying to win the Grand Rampage. That isn’t gonna happen since I am in the same damn match. You have these hopes and dreams, but with 29 other hopes and dreams staring you in the face, many of us have got to leave heartbroke and I am going to do whatever I can to make sure that I am not included in the list of heartbreaks. I have stared heartbreak in the face way too many times in my career and I want this to be a time where I can have the feeling of a job well done. The feeling of knowing that I know exactly what I am going to be doing at Pain for Pride. Knowing that I am one step away from being a World Champion. The thought of it just gets my adrenaline pumping and my heart racing with anticipation in knowing that this could be my night. You’ve won many battles in your life and career and I hate to do this, but I have to make sure that this is a battle that you can’t win.

Outside of all the fun before and during Territorial Invasion time, I really haven’t had much interaction than that with Scott Diamond. He is a freaking powerhouse and I know that from all of the time that sent half of the Brand Warfare match flying around the damn ring. But I am curious if Scott was able to get his phone fixed because leave it to technology to crap out at the absolute worst time. But one person’s loss is another person’s gain, I guess. But while you might have dominated Brand Warfare the way you didn’t, you better believe that now that I have a second chance to face you, I am not going to let the one up on me. I don’t care how strong you are or how successful you are. Nobody and I mean NOBODY is going to stand in my way of winning the Grand Rampage. When you look at the field right now, it would be a pretty safe bet to say that you are the strongest person in the match in terms of plain strength, but if I or we are able to take you out it will drastically improve my chance of winning and I can’t just ignore a chance to improve my own chances because victory is so close to my disposal that I can taste it and I am willing to bulldoze over you in order to get it.

Alright. There you have it. I have spoken my peace to the majority of the Grand Rampage match. I have laid the groundwork down for any of the people who I addressed right now and now they have two choices. They can choose to finally take their chance to fight back and address things that I have to say and hopefully improve their chances of victory in this match. Or they can continue to do what they have been doing already and just fly under the radar, stay silent, and hope that things work out their way this weekend. I am not gonna turn into some sort of hypocrite and say that it’s not their year and to stay in their place because that’s not how I roll. If you choose to go balls to the wall, then I wish you the best of luck. If you choose to be the strong and silent type, then I wish you the best of luck as well. As for me, I have been spending this entire week telling the world what winning this match would mean to me. I strongly believe that winning the Grand Rampage would be that last bit of confirmation that I would need to prove once and for all that I have officially arrived. Not just as a competitor, but as a Main Event Level talent. To prove that I didn’t just fumble and stumble my way into this echelon of competition. It’ll prove that I have earned it and it will be the biggest statement of my career thus far.

Bet on it.
